Srinagar is the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, India’s union territory. It is situated in the Kashmir Valley on the banks of the Jhelum River, a tributary of the Indus, as well as the Dal and Anchar lakes. Gulmarg is a town in Kashmir, a hill station, and a popular skiing destination. The Gulmarg Wildlife Sanctuary is part of the Pir Panjal Range in the Western Himalayas, and the town is located within it. Gulmarg, located only 52 kilometers from Srinagar, is 2,730 meters above sea level and is completely covered in snow during the winter. As a result, it has become a popular destination for winter adventure sports such as snowboarding, heli-skiing, and off-piste skiing (skiing on off-piste ski runs), among others. Its slopes have been rated the seventh-best in Asia for skiing. Gulmarg is located in the shadow of the Apharwat mountain, which is accessible via the Gulmarg Gondola, the world’s second-highest cable car ride.
Pahalgam: In Jammu and Kashmir, Anantnag is located in Pahalgam. The distance to Srinagar is 92 km. Pahalgam is located at 7200 feet above sea level and is home to numerous Bollywood movies. This area is surrounded by dense forests and high mountains of the Himalayas. It also has many famous high-altitude lakes, such as Tarsar Lake and Tullian Lake, which are amazing to look at.

Baisaren Valley: Baisaran is a famous destination, known as a Mini-Switzerland due to its picturesque beauty, located only 5 miles from Pahalgam in the Anantnag district of Kashmir. It is a high-range green meadow surrounded by snowcapped mountains and dense pine forests. It is also used as a walker’s camp to Tullian Lake. Srinagar Local sightseeing: The Chashme Shahi is located 14 kilometers northeast of Srinagar Airport within the competence of Srinagar City. It’s near Rajbhawan. The garden is interconnected by the road on the banks of the lake of Dal. From March to November, the garden is still open to tourists.
Shalimar Bagh is a Mughal garden located in the northwest corner of the lake, Srinagar, Jammu, and the Kashmir region of India. Nishat Bagh, ‘The Garden of Delight,’ is another famous coastal garden in the vicinity. The Bagh, for its wife Nur Jahan, was built by the Mughal emperor Jahangir. The Bagh is seen as Mughal’s highest point in horticulture. It is now a public park and is also known as the ‘Srinagar Crown.’
