BEST OF KASHMIR (7 Night_8 Days)

Srinagar is the largest city in the Indian union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, as well as its summer capital. On the banks of the Jhelum River, a tributary of the Indus, and the Dal and Anchar lakes, it is located in the Kashmir Valley. The city’s natural environment, parks, waterfronts, and houseboats are well-known. In and around the district, there are a variety of lakes and swamps. The Dal, Nigeen, Anchar, Khushal Sar, Gil Sar, and Hokersar are among them. Dal Lake, which is known for its houseboats, and Nigeen Lake are two of the city’s lakes. Wular Lake and Manasbal Lake, in addition to Dal and Nigeen Lakes, are located to the north of Srinagar. Wular Lake is one of Asia’s biggest freshwater lakes.

Sonmarg is a popular tourist destination and hill station in the Gandarbal district of Jammu & Kashmir. It is located about 80 kilometers from Srinagar and is surrounded by Himalayan plains. Thousands of tourists visit this location each year. The Machoi Glacier, Sirbal Mountain, Kolahoi Peak, Amarnath Peak, and Machoi Peak are all similar to the Machoi Hill Station, which is located in the Kashmir Valley at an elevation of 2,730 meters. The ‘Three Sisters,’ a group of rivers (the Lidder, Sind, and Neelum) that run parallel to each other and act as tributaries to the main Jhelum River that runs through the Kashmir Valley and into Pakistan, are named after Sonamarg. Sonamarg offers trekking routes to the Himalayan lakes of Vishansar, Krishansar, Gangabal, and Gadsar, which are stocked with snow trout and brown trout. Baltal is a valley at the foot of the Zoji La pass, 15 kilometers east of Sonamarg. Trekkers can also cross the Zoji La to get to Leh, which is known as “the rooftop of the planet.”
