Himachal Pradesh is dotted with a number of scenic hill stations, which are extremely popular as summer holiday destinations. Shimla and Manali are two such places, which do not only have natural beauty in abundance but also have a number of tourist attractions. Shimla is mainly a more crowded destination but all its attractions are quite close to the city center. On the other hand, Manali is mainly more for adventure seekers and best visited during winter season. So, if you’re someone who enjoys adventure sports, Manali is a good choice.
Itinerary
Arrive Delhi by air or train. After reaching in delhi go to Kashmiri gate from there proceed for Shimla by Volvo. This will be an overnight journey.
Reach Shimla at 8 -9am, meet our representative at Shimla Volvo stand and transfer to the hotel. Later proceed for a Shimla sightseeing visit to places like Indian Institute of Advanced Study, Kali Bari Temple, Lakkar Bazar, Mall Road, and Christ Church. vening free to stroll in the famous shopping place of Shimla town- The Mall & The Ridge, this large open space in the heart of town presents excellent views of the mountain ranges. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel. Return to your hotel room and stay overnight.
Have your breakfast, now get ready for the amazing full-day sightseeing of Shimla city. first move toward Kufri a 30 Minutes drive from Shimla, an exotica of nature as a place surrounded by dense forest and snow caped mountains amidst virgin peaks and natures flora and fauna where one can completely relax and tune oneself for natural beauty, situated at an altitude of 2500 meters and a very popular ski resort during the winter months .Return to your hotel room and stay overnight.
We proceed towards Manali right after breakfast. It is 240 kilometers. While driving to Manali, enjoy the scenic beauty of enchanting Himalayas & en-route places like Sundernagar Lake, Pandoh Dam, Beas River, Sutlej River, and Beas Sutlej Link Project & Kullu Valley. Once we reach, we go to the hotel where we have an overnight stay.
After breakfast proceed towards Solang valley. This dazzling valley is one of the most picturesque sights in Manali and is located at an average altitude of 2,560 meters above sea level. Solang Valley is located between the Solang village and Beas Kund and offers majestic views of glaciers and snow capped mountain. Paragliding, Amateur Skiing and Snow scooter are main activities are organized here. Apart from this many other adventure sports are available like Zorbing, Rope way, Horse riding & Snow Motor Bikes riding by own etc. After all the adventurous activities, head back to Manali for overnight stay at the hotel.
You will check-out from your hotel, after having breakfast. ( Hotel check out time is 12 in noon ) Later visit Hadimba temple The temple was built in 1553 with a superbly crafted four tier pagoda roof. It is also famous for its exquisitely-carved door way. Soon after this, we make our way to the Club House. Enjoy its comprehensive facilities which also include a roller-skating rink, an auditorium, billiards room and a library. The Club House also has a bar cum restaurant which adds to the fun at this outing. We also visit Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar and Vashisht- famous for its hot-water springs. Here you will also find temples dedicated to the sage Vashisht and Lord Rama. Later you are free to stroll Mall road Manali. evening catches the Volvo from manali at 4.00 PM.
